THIS LIFE OF MINE
I have always thought of my work with Ivo as my vocation. Yes, it has influenced who I am and how I live my life, but I continue to be me.
I was born in CA and lived there for nearly 30 years. I grew up in a two-parent household along with my older sister. After college I married my husband and raised a family.
Once our children grew up and chose lives of their own, we moved to Colorado. After six years of cold, snowy winters we relocated to Florida.
I have always enjoyed spending time in nature. Memories of camping, sailing, water skiing or simply laying under the stars still bring a sense of peace and joy.
I value every creature on this earth and know it has a purpose in this world. Throughout my life I have rarely been without a feathered or furry family member.
I enjoy creating, especially with my hands. Over the years I have explored pottery and stained glass. Floral design is a long time passion while jewelry making and beading have filled many satisfying hours. I love to cook and bake and every once in a while I take on a sewing project. I find planting and nurturing flowers quite fulfilling. One of my greatest joys is a lazy afternoon reading a novel.
Over the many years of working with Ivo, I have learned so very much. The knowledge and awareness I experience through our work surely assist me in navigating my life. I know I am here to learn life lessons and make a contribution to this world, just like you.
I realize there are those who have preconceived ideas about me. Some believe I live a life that is in some way more blessed than theirs. So, who am I? Who is this woman working alongside Ivo and how does she live her life?
I will tell you. I laugh and I cry. I celebrate and I grieve. I teach and I learn. I love and I am loved. I experience life with excitement at times and hesitancy at others, just like you.
Yes, my work may be out of the ordinary, but I live my life simply being me.
